Producing lino-cut images is so relaxing and satisfying that I recommend it to everyone.
The workshops will take place inside the historic Wheelhouse at Merton Abbey Mills and will run from Mid-January through to end of November starting on Wednesday 16 January 2019.

The workshops will last for 2-21/2 hours and you will learn how to tracedown your image, draw over it, cut into the lino using specialised cutting tools and the sequencing of colour printing. You will also learn about the reduction method of lino-cutting which is the method used by professional artists when producing Limited Editions.
Go home with a piece of art you created.
Each person will make either a one or two colour print, time permitting. You will take home your finished prints and your cut lino, which you can then use to print at home onto paper, card or material and then embellish the print by adding paint or ink to it in the normal way.
Because we are using sharp tools the age limit for the workshops is 13+. 13-16 year olds to be accompanied by an adult.
This is a small venue (max. 4 people) and you will meet like minded people and enjoy yourself in a friendly atmosphere.
Cost Per session £25.00 per person.
Time slot: 11am-1.30pm
Because there are only 4 places - please call 07812 131360 to book your place.
